CONTINUOUSLY HABITABLE ZONES
Mouquim, Portugal

Design of the film set of Philippe Parreno’s “Continuously Habitable Zones”. The film depicts the landscape of an imaginary dwarf planet lit by two suns. NASA imagines the vegetation to be black because of the wider range of frequencies. The black landscapes survive the set as they are slowly reconquered by nature.
